Our Yoga Instructors:
Yoga by 1111 is a mid-island yoga studio owned and operated by 1111 Nantucket Wellness LLC. The studio includes a balance of yoga offerings including Heated Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative & Yin, and various types of meditation classes including Guided Meditation, Moving Meditation, and Open Meditation. We offer off-site classes around Nantucket and in Boston via various partnerships, typically held on-season in the summer and fall. Off-site and outdoor classes are all-levels, and taught by one of our senior teachers on staff.
Lynne Begier began her yoga teacher career in 2001 after completing her 1st of many teacher training in August of that year at Kripalu . Shortly thereafter she was pummeled into a new world after the events of 9/11. She was working a corporate job and realized she had so much that she wanted to offer. Her corporate job gave her the confidence to step forward into unknown territory to open a yoga studio. There weren't any yoga studios in Boston that had her vision. She led the team at BBY until she sold the studio in 2015. It became clear that stepping down from this intense leadership role would allow her to grow and expand as a practitioner and teacher. She has spent many years learning under Ana Forrest and Tias Little and also focuses her energy deeply into meditation, sound healing and aromatics. Lynne currently lives on Nantucket with her two furry friends and boyfriend savoring all the beauty and teaching yoga, meditation and sound baths.
