World Wetlands Day at Windswept Bog

49 years ago today, representatives from countries around the world adopted the Convention on Wetlands to conserve, protect and promote the sustainable use of these important habitats on a global scale. Here on Nantucket, we are very proud of our wetlands and the important benefits they provide to our community. This Sunday, February 2, 2020, join us at Windswept Bog to celebrate this important day to our ecosystem. Our scientists will be on hand to talk about our wetlands and answer any questions you may have.
