July 29 @ 9:00 am – 11:30 am
Explore Eel Point in its entirety, from its picturesque beach to its beautiful, sheltered salt marsh. Come out for a walk from NCF’s Wildlife Technician, Gracie Bell, and Environmental Educator Isaac Hersh about salt marsh habitats on Nantucket and the animals who make their homes in them, and then wrap around to the shoreline to see the shorebirds living on the edge of Nantucket Sound. This walk will go through soft sand and can be strenuous. Please bring sunscreen, water, binoculars, and walking shoes that can get wet. Space is limited. (9am-11:30am)
