An excursion for budding botanists and practiced plant ecologists alike! Join NCF Plant Research Ecologist/Botanist Kelly Omand on an informative foray to examine the characteristics of Nantucket’s fern species. Learn fern ID skills, understand these ancient flower-less plants better, and make new ‘fronds’ along the way. Shoes for getting mucky are highly encouraged. (9am-11am)
