Clark’s Cove and Hummock Pond

Explore the connection between Clark’s Cove, Hummock Pond, and the Atlantic Ocean on the glacial outwash plains of the south shore of Nantucket. Come stroll along the beach to learn about the formation of these iconic Nantucket ponds and the interesting wildlife that you can see where the ponds meet the ocean. This walk will go through soft sand and can be strenuous. Please bring sunscreen, water, binoculars, and walking shoes that could get wet. Space is limited. (9am-11am)
