Batacular Bike Race

Race through Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s beautiful trails for a single loop (8.3 miles) or double loop (16.6 miles) to raise both funds and awareness for open spaces across the island.

• We recommend using a mountain bike or a fat tire bike, but gravel or cyclocross bikes would work for experienced riders. We do not recommend hybrid-type or road bikes!
• The course is comprised of sandy dirt roads through the Moors, some single track trails, and a few short technical sections with rocks, roots, and scrub oak obstacles!
• One loop takes anywhere from approximately 35 minutes for the fastest riders up to an hour for the more leisurely riders.
• An aid station with water and Halloween treats will be found at Alter Rock!
• Costumes are encouraged! Have fun with it!
• Awards will be given out to the winners!

And don’t forget to stay after the race for the Fall Festival and have some well deserved snacks from the food trucks!
