Charitable Giving Options
The Nantucket Conservation Foundation is a member-supported organization that does not receive any governmental assistance or tax revenue for its funding. The success of our efforts depends entirely upon voluntary contributions from individuals who share our concern for the Island’s natural beauty and its future. Every gift is important and helps to sustain the Foundation’s mission. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
Checks, Money Orders and Credit Cards
Checks and money orders may all be sent to us at Post Office Box 13 Nantucket, MA 02554. Credit cards may be used by either using our secure on-line donation form by clicking here or by calling the Development office at (508) 228-2884.

Securities, Stock & Mutual Funds
Gifts of appreciated securities have a double benefit for the donor. The security’s full market value is tax-deductible and, if the securities have appreciated in value, capital gains taxation may also be avoided.

Matching Gifts
Many corporations and businesses will match donations made by their employees (both current and retired). Matching gifts can often double, or even triple, the original value of the gift. If you are interested in pursuing a match from your company, please check with their human resources department or personnel office for details.
Gift in Kind
Individuals and businesses have been very supportive of the Foundation’s mission by offering products, discounted goods, services and other in-kind gifts that have been of great value to the Foundation’s day-to-day operations, special events and care of our properties.
Gifts of Real Estate
Over seventy-five percent of the land held by the Foundation has been generously donated, either totally or in part, by over 300 donors (click here to view our land donors).
