Squam Farm
Sunday, August 5th

For children ages 4-12
(All children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.)
FIND OUT.....why the Foundation has its own flock of sheep
INVESTIGATE.....what other animals, insects and birds live around the farm
EXPLORE.....the sheep paddocks, farmlands and forests
LEARN.....about our lambs and Wendy Rouillard's book, Barnaby Meets Wood Lily
DISCOVER.....what a special place Squam Farm is
Shepherd Jess Pykosz and her faithful herding dog, Rem, will lead the tour of the paddocks, barn and pasture areas. Ranger Allen Reinhard and resident naturalist Len Germinara will also be on hand to help guide our young participants on this wonderful excursion.
Squam Farm is 20 minutes by car from the Rotary. Please plan accordingly so that you don't miss any of the fun!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Registration: To register, please call the NCF office at 508.228.2884. Pre-registration is required.
- Junior Membership: Parents may also sign their children up for an NCF Junior Membership ($25). First time Junior Members will receive an embroidered backpack. Children renewing their memberships will receive a new Junior Member patch (below).
